African Widows and Orphans Project is designed to be a joint venture of many individuals and groups who share the same desire – to glorify the Lord by caring for vulnerable widows and orphans. Toward that end, there are a number of areas in which you can be involved:
I. PRAY
We desire for this project to be thoroughly supported in prayer. There are many ways the project can be thwarted, including feelings of competition or territory issues, lack of favor with government officials, lack of trust among African staff and constituents, and lack of financial and personnel resources to sufficiently carry on the project. II. VOLUNTEER
Several of our projects require volunteer help in order to be successful. We welcome individuals or short or longer term mission groups to contact us about current needs for service. Some areas include:
- Managing the feeding program
- Working in the hospice program
- Helping with job skill training
- Visiting families and sharing the Gospel
- Putting on Vacation Bible Schools
- Improving the orphanage facility
- Secretarial help
- Teaching children
- and others
III. GIVE
Obviously there are significant costs involved in developing and running these programs. We need general operating funds as well as funds for specific items. We encourage you to consider providing one or more of the following needs as we get these programs up and running:

IV. BUY

VI. ADOPT
Perhaps the Lord is leading you to model His love for believers by making a long term commitment to a child or children.
