African Widows and Orphans Project is a ministry of Kingdom Kids Adoption Ministries.  Our advisory board is made up of the following individuals:

Steve and Michelle Gardner

      Steve is an elementary school teacher and Michelle is the executive director of AWOP.  They have 12 children, six of whom were adopted from Ethiopia.  Michelle is the author of two books – Adoption as a Ministry, Adoption as a Blessing, and After the Dream Comes True:  Post-Adoption Support for Christian Families.  Steve developed and updates the AWOP website.  Michelle travels to Africa several times a year to develop and monitor the AWOP projects and follow up on families with whom we are working.

 

Dale and Yolanda Boudro

      Dale owns several small businesses and Yolanda is a busy homeschooling mom.  They have eight children, three of whom were adopted from Ethiopia.  They are in the process of adopting four more Ethiopian children.  Dale travels to Africa several times a year to ensure smooth functioning of AWOP projects.

 

Jim and Cindy Dibble

      Jim is a computer forensic investigator for the Washington State Gaming Commission and Cindy is a homeschooling mom.  The Dibbles have three children, including two adopted from China.  Jim does a great deal of work with the International Justice Mission.  Cindy and Jim both travel to Africa periodically to develop and supervise projects.

 

Kim Scotland

      Kim is an Early Childhood Education director and a pastor’s wife.  She has traveled to Ethiopia with AWOP and uses her occupational experience to train nannies in healthy child care techniques.
